Quiz on Traffic Rules
|
Quiz competition was held for the students of classes X to XII to make them aware about the traffic rules and symbols. It was house wise. Three students from each house were selected. The competition was very interesting and educative. After the results, the guests enlightened the students more about the traffic rules. The winners of the quiz were:

|
India land of varied culture with folk, dances, folk songs and festivals are united with diversity. Keeping this in mind various competitions were held for classes VI to VIII. |

The Independence Day celebration |
The management, staff and students celebrated the 65th Independence Day on 15th August 2012 with zeal and enthusiasm. The feeling of patriotism was in the very air of the school. Mrs. Divya Vashisht(I.R.S.), an Ex- Angelite, graced the occasion as the chief guest for the day. A colourful cultural programme was presented by the students. Sister Helen, the Principal, enlightened the students by her inspiring words. |

Training by Professionals |
We are grateful to Sr. Helen, the Principal, for starting the training by professionals in Basket Ball, Lawn Tennis, Badminton, Karate and Instrumental Music. The hidden and untapped talent that lies within the students is further enhanced through these special classes. |
2) Annual Exhibition |
Various exhibitions were organised this year to enhance the knowledge of the students in the fields of Science and Technology, Mathematics, Social Science, Literature, Fine Arts, etc.
The Students of Classes VIII and IX depicted the Scenario of various disasters taking place in the country like floods, earthquakes, cyclones etc. In the exhibition various models were put up focussing not only the causes responsible for the disasters but even their preventive measures. There were some working models too. The students of classes VI to XI presented various working and static models to depict science on various burning aspects like alternative sources of energy, environmental issues and their remedial measures, agriculture and food security, health issues, science in everyday life and also science for fun.
The day bound by the efforts of little mathematicians is not long lost when our mathematics exhibition took place on 14th and 15th December 2012. The aim was successfully achieved by the projects made by the students of classes VIII , IX, and X. Our main motive behind this exhibition was to enhance the practical knowledge of students and to develop interest towards Mathematics. We also tried our level best in showcasing our creativity over different aspects of mathematics like probability, trigonometry, statistics, algebra etc.
Without pains there has never been any glory. So, we tried to imbibe all these things in ourselves and made our best efforts in making a perfect and interactive way of learning. Their efforts were highly innovative and remarkable and their hard work was appreciated by all the visitors.

A Visit To A Unique Science Exhibition |
A unique science exhibition focussing on Bio-diversity and Climatic changes was organised on the Indian Railway Networks by the Central Government. The students of classes IX to XII visited it. Their idealistic enthusiasm was a feast for our eyes.

A gesture to help the Flood victims |
The management, staff and students extended a helping hand towards the flood victims in Jaipur. The Principal motivated the students and the entire Sophian family helped the flood victims generously.

Teen Of The Year |
“The Teenager” magazine organises “The Teen of the Year” contest every year. This year Soumya Sharma and Megha Rathore were selected at the Zonal level. Megha Rathore made it to the finals which were held at Mumbai and received the award for the “Best Community Project”

Save Environment, Save Life |
The school conducted various activities to make the students aware of “Sustainable Development”.
An exhibition,Rally on Save Water, and tree plantation programmes were organised to motivate students to save “Mother Earth”.

Excursion to Udaipur and Mt. Abu |
The students discovered the new roots of adventure by experiencing a delightful exploration to Udaipur and Mt. Abu. We are grateful to our dear Sr. Helen,the Principal for her thoughtful actions and worthy ways.

Sophia celebrates The Annual Day |
The management, staff and students celebrated the Annual Day in the month of December. The theme of the function was ‘Peace and Love’. Mr. Umesh Mishra, IPS, graced the occasion on December 14, 2012 and Reverend Father Edward Oliviera,Vicar General of the DIOCSE of Jaipur, spared his valuable time on December 15, 2012. The function was a grand success.

Ex-Angelite Meet |
The Ex-Angelite Association was revived by the efforts of Sr. Helen,the Principal. A dance party and a mini fete were organised on January 23, 2013. The core committee gave a treat to the outgoing batch of 2013. There was fun in the very air of St. Angela’s.

Counselling, Talks and Seminars |
The Management organised personal counselling for the students, teachers and supporting staff members to guide them how to cope up with the difficult situations in life. General awareness was created on “Breast Cancer” by cancer specialist, Dr. Nidhi Patni, an Ex-Angelite. Teachers were enlightened for inculcating spiritual quotient along with emotional and intellectual quotient by Father Isaac SDB from Don Bosco. Mr. Joe Monterio gave career counselling to the senior students.
